Kyadondo Rugby Football Club located on plot 9 – 15 Coronation Avenue Kampala, was formed in 1999 starting with Heathens RFC, and growing over the years from one team to six with the formation of Buffaloes RFC in 2001, Stallions RFC in 2002, Tigers in 2014,Thunder Birds RFC in 2006 & Eagles RFC in 2016

A Humble Begignig
Starting with nothing in the year 1999 and a very limited budget, Kyadondo is justifiably proud of what it has achieved. Situated on approximately 6 acres of greenbelt-designated, sports-specific land, just 5 minutes drive from the center of Kampala, the Club boasts of one of the only internationally-approved size,rugby pitches in the country, and the whole region. There are 5 competitive teams playing rugby under it and with the addition of tag, mini/toto (under 14), "wazee" (over 35) rugby over the last five years the club has transformed into a social club with a membership from a wide spectrum of people.
Kyadondo Rugby Club is a rugby union ground in Kampala, Uganda.
It was built in 2000. Facilities include main ground,a Gym, a training pitch and a club house.
The ground is home to several club teams, among them Heathens RFC, a leading rugby club in Uganda. It has also hosted home games of the Uganda national rugby union team.
The club has also been a concert venue, Beenie Man is among the high-profile performers.
